Ground Inn is quick and easy to access from Interstate 5. There's plenty of off-street parking for bikes and cars.

By Car:
We're right off Interstate 5, exit 105. Follow the exit for "State Capitol/City Center" which eventually ends in a traffic circle. Take an immediate right out of the circle onto Jefferson. Go 3 blocks and turn left into a steep driveway just before the traffic light on Union. It looks like this:

By Train:
The Amtrak station is in a neighboring town, Lacey. Buses come by every 15 minutes and some of them go downtown. Take Bus 94 and tell the bus driver you want off near Union and Jefferson. Bus 64 comes close by, too.
It takes about 30 - 40 minutes to take a bus to Ground Inn, downtown. Consider bringing your bike on the train. It's cheap and easy. You'll be glad you did.
By Bike:
Our beautiful Olympia Woodland trail has an easy on ramp in our neighborhood. It connects to the Chehalis Western Trail which goes out to the Amtrak station.  Download the (most excellent) Thurston County Bike Map and see for yourself how much fun you can have here on your bike.

By Bus:
Our Intercity Transit Routes 94 (best) and 64 swing by to take you to the transit station for more connections. One block away, you can catch the DASH, a free bus that goes up & down the main drag from the Capitol to the Farmer's Market. Two buses enroute to Tacoma go past our corner, the 603 and the 612. To bus to and from Seattle, check Sound Transit's schedule for connecting with Tacoma.

By Plane:
The SeaTac Airport has a shuttle service called the Capital Aeroporter Airport Shuttle. Make arrangements with them at least 24 hours in advance. You can also take buses from the SeaTac airport by exiting Baggage Claim and walking 1/4 block to the right. Catch the Piece County bus #574. Tell driver you want off at the SR 512 "Park and Ride". Wait there to transfer to bus #603 or #612 to Olympia. Tell driver on that you're going to Union and Jefferson so they can drop you at the nearest bus stop.
